We are expanding our kennel

We are adding Monique and Rochelle, 2 AKC miniature French apricot poodles, to our dames (females)! They will be around 15 inches when fully grown and and all of 18 pounds. We gave them "French" names, because, even though they are the friendliest little lamp puff balls, they do have an "heir" about them..

We did try lots of names for the first 2 days, Laverne and Shirley, Mary-Kate and Ashley, Holly and Polly, etc., but in the end, our more sophisticated names won out.

We have also have an addition for the Sires (males) as well. Walker (Luke Skywalker, to my 6 year old) He is an AKC Tri-parti-colored American Cocker Spaniel, and will look a lot like our boy, Barney when fully grown.

In addition to AKC registered Cockers, we are going to breed AKC registered Cockapoos. They will be the same size as a cocker, but with the poodle coats , they do not shed, and therefore, can live in homes with allergy problems. Athough, cocker lovers may argue this, poodles tend to be a bit brighter and smarter breed, easier to train and such, so Cockapoos benefit from this. When cross breeding the two, we end up with a very playful family and children loving dog, that learns commands quicker, and does not shed, but looks more "manly" than a poodle, with the cocker traits, big feet and big ears and a soft coat. I will keep you updated on our progress.

Also I am taking Maggie in today to see check and see what her due date may be for her next litter of pure cockers. (Maggie and Barney's)

Thanks again for your business and opening your hearts and giving our pups great homes!
